Links for Healthy Aging

Vancouver Parks and Recreation challenges citizens to walk 100 kilometres in 12 weeks with the Walking to Wellness Challenge. The Walking to Wellness Passport gives the locations of more than 35 City walks and the journal pages at the back of the passport will help you log your distance. Jim McKenzie (; 604-257-8492) would be pleased to speak with walk leaders and if necessary adapt the walks for seniors. In addition to the 35 suggested Vancouver walks in the Walking to Wellness passport there are more excellent walks listed on the Step Out Walks web page.
